The story behind the name
Orio is the moment you're found.
In Korea, every child grows up playing hide-and-seek. One player covers their eyes and counts while the others vanish into hidden corners — present, but unseen.
When the seeker has searched everywhere and still can't find them, they call out the words that end the game: 못 찾겠다, 꾀꼬리 — “I give up, oriole.” It's a magic phrase. At those words, the hidden reveal themselves and step, all at once, into the light.
Today, brands face a new kind of hide-and-seek — and the seeker is artificial intelligence. When customers ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity for a recommendation, AI answers with the brands it can see. If the models can't find you, you're hidden at the exact moment a buyer is deciding.
Orio — named for the oriole, 꾀꼬리 — is the call that ends the game. AI visibility is the discipline of being found, cited, and recommended by AI itself, and that's the world Orio was built for.
